Lisa Houston is the Director of Operations at Granite Insurance, joining the company in June 2018. Lisa started her career at Granite Insurance as a Business Insurance Account Manager and has since been an integral part of the organization’s growth journey. In January of 2023, Lisa was promoted to Director of Operations. In her role, she oversees process optimization and performance enhancement, which has led to improved workloads, heightened efficiency, and more cohesive work environment. Lisa has completed her Certified Insurance Counselor designation and looks forward to continuing her education and growth at Granite Insurance.
 
Lisa moved to the Hickory/Granite Falls area when she took the job in 2018 and has settled down with her husband, Adam, and their two dogs. In Lisa’s personal life, she enjoys time outside, following her roots of being raised in the North Carolina mountains. Outside the office you can find Lisa, hanging out with friends, traveling, hiking, and winning a good card game.
